Although the lake level is high there are still some land features and debris hidden just below the surface. So, if you launch @Mansfield Dam & are not familiar with area, we suggest going opposite direction of Mansfield Dam (avoiding mile marker area 1-6)

ALWAYS GO SLOW NEAR MARINAS
If it says NO WAKE- That means NO WAKE! Slow until there is barely any wave coming off your boat.
As you head passed Lakeway Marina and Point Venture, the point at Mile Marker 19 comes out far creating a beach. Be careful for shallows and people anchored and swimming!
